Ross Leckie is a Scottish writer of historical novels, best known for his Carthage trilogy. He is not to be confused with the Canadian poet of the same name.

Ross Leckie attended the expensive private school Fettes College,[1] where he gained his interest in classical literature. He later went to Oxford University where he studied Classics.[2]
After that he worked on farms, as a roughneck and later as an insurance broker. He is now a full-time writer.
